Well, 12 days after our journey began as 200 plus food trucks compete for the spot on Season 3 of Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race, we are sitting pretty on Poll Position.  We still have 16 more days to go and it is far from over…but I must tip my hat to our local residents who have friends all over this country have pulled together to bring us to the top of the chart.  Now that school is back in session in the Aggieland, all we need is the student body, their parents, and rest of the Aggie Nation all across America to start voting.

I can’t believe this but we are running 3rd in Nation on voting….that’s pretty crazy!!!  I simply feel overwhelmed with the support we have been receiving.  There are so many good people out there excited for someone’s passion and chance of being in the national spot representing their home town and alma mater.  Thank you all for your help!  Let’s go win!

Weather doesn’t agree that it is Fall Semester at Texas A&M, but it is about to happen!  Welcome back to College Station Aggies!  Come and try only Aggie owned and operated Gourmet Food Truck in BCS area!  WHOOP!

I think it was June when I posted a complaint that it is too dang hot and guess what, situation has gotten worse as Texas is going through one of the most brutal summer with 30 plus days of 100F degree.  There is one upside to this…I no longer have to keep the Hamburger Buns in the warming drawer to keep it warm before I toast…I just have the buns resting on our overhead shelf and it is nice and toasty at 140F….

Thankfully our loyalists are still supporting our business even when the asphalts are nice and gooey on their feet.  Thank you…really….you guys are amazing! 

Can’t wait for the cool weather to return when everyone can enjoy the breeze and sun on their face while waiting for our delish food….

It is HOT!  It is HOTTER on the parkinglot…and our Loyal Food Trucker’s Support for our business is even hotter!  Even on these 100F weather we still find our friends visiting our food truck and forcing us to be in business.    I am grateful.

We are truly blessed to have these loyal followers and even if I have to sweat it out setting up our truck for lunch business, we will happily smile and serve up our friends!

Had a nice 5 days trip to NYC and came back encouraged.  Checked out many food trucks and I realized that we have a very competitive products and I think I have a shot at those citydwellers…   Enough arrogance for a day Tai!

I was however really impressed with the Food Truck Scene and how well it is received.  Doesn’t surprise me at all based on number of carts located on each blocks of the city…Tom Collichio ( Master Chef MC / Chef) created a place called “the Lot” under the NYC Highline Park at 30th and it is designed to accomodate Food Truck and they had a built in bars, restroom, hand wash station, and place for kids to play…way to go New Yorkers! 

Lots of learning and lots of inspiration…love our annual R&D trip to NYC.

It was 120F inside the truck while I was cleaning the truck out….with the A/C and Fan on it becomes tolerable 90F…but man it is hot…I am just glad our two coolers are made by True and work really well under the heat. 

I surely miss the early Spring time when weather was just so perfect for the chefs and the guests.   That actually make me even more grateful and thankful for all the Food Truck Loving Guests who still stalk us and devour our foods! I mean on Friday across from TAMU, we have 30 minutes wait time to time….really LOVE YOU GUYS!

We will take 6 days off as we do some heavy duty summer cleaning and tune up so we can go another 6 months strong before we take our winter break.

As temperature rise, we are offering cooler menu items!  Chilled Grilled Steak or Chicken Salad Wrap has been a huge success and our recent offerings of Sushi Rolls and Cold Ceviche were met with great enthusiasm.  We will continue to develope cool items to keep your craving under control!

It is indeed a great timing to release our Cold Wrap Menu in time for this Summer Heat.  Our Wraps have delicious flavor combination of roasted corn, black bean, romaine lettuce, tomato, and choice of grilled chicken or steak.  Just simply delicious!
